The handheld piano black Sony PSP Slim & Lite Game Console is an enhanced version of the original console.
It has a size of 17 x 1.9 x 7.1 cm and weighs 189g, making it quite comfortable and easy to hold. It is 33% lighter and 19% slimmer than the original version. This 64 MB RAM capacity console has a 4.3” full transparent LCD display which delivers a resolution of 480 x 272 pixels and supports up to 16.7 million colours.
The media type is UMD (Universal Media Disc) and the processor has a speed of 333 MHz. The data width supported by this game console is 128 bit. With built-in speakers for audio output, the supported sound output mode is stereo. The expansion slot (Free) available is Memory Stick PRO Duo.
Directional buttons (up/down/right/left), analogue stick, Action buttons (triangle, circle, cross, square), L/R buttons, START button, SELECT button, HOME button, POWER/HOLD switch, WLAN switch display button, sound button and volume (+/-) buttons are available on the game pad.
Provided with an AC Adapter, a Li-ion rechargeable battery feeds power to the PSP for nearly 4 to 6 hours for game titles and 4 to 5 hours for video watching. MP3, ATRAC3 plus, AAC and MPEG4 videos can be played in this console.
The interface ports provided are 1 x headphones and remote control, 1 x USB (mini-USB Type B), 1 x DC power input and Composite video output. You can see your PSP content on your TV with the video-out port. Even the game play can be output on a progressive scan TV with the PSP specific cable. You can download game content from internet and also play games online with its wireless LAN feature.
The PSP can be charged through a USB cable connected to PS3 or PC, making it more versatile. You can even store the game data temporarily and play full-scale 3D-CG games, music and movies on its Widescreen LCD Ad hoc mode (connection up to 16 consoles).
