The biggest Olympic super stars are back with a bang! Get ready for some exciting winter games and fun. Nintendo Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, the second game to unite Mario and Sonic characters also feature Olympics licence and incorporates ideas from Shigeru Miyamoto, the Mario creator.
The dream team-up of Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog combine at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver. Meanwhile, these superstar characters represent the video game land and follow the same format as the 2008 summer games. The game offers the option to the players to play as any character the original game- ranging from Prince Peach, Vector the Crocodile, as well as first-timers Donkey Kong and Metal Sonic.
The new Festival mode lets you compete in whole of the Olympic Winter Games like alpine skiing, ice hockey, speed skating, bobsleigh, figure skating and snowboard half pipe. The video game also offers new fantasy events such as Dream Ski Cross, which sees everyone competing in a Mario Kart style race complete with familiar looking power-ups and speed boosts. The keyword here is just old fashioned multiplayer fun!
You also have access to Balance Board for some events, if required for the first time in Mario & Sonic at the Vancouver Olympic Winter Games. Friendly rivalry also gives way to mountains of multiplayer options, including four-player competitive tournaments and co-operative games.
