It takes you to the realm of magical buildings and spells and lets you to take the classes, to know how to blend magical concoctions, wing away on broomsticks and interact with professors.

Players have access to more than 100 playable characters such as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, as well as various other famous characters. It also lets you to take control of more ambiguous choices like Hagrid’s dog Fang. You can travel through the magical world of Diagon Alley, the Forbidden Forest, the village of Hogsmeade and indeed the Hogwarts castle! The game in the same league as popular Lego Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Batman games lets you and your opponent experience Harry Potter’s first few years as a team in Hogwarts. You are also given the option to switch characters when required.

LEGO Hogwarts, the biggest and the most meticulous LEGO game location is placed on the Nintendo Wii platform and portrays a magnificent 3D environment. The game compatible with Playstation 3 and X-box 360 provides easy drop-in/dropout co-op play and online co-op options to the players.

Nintendo DS gaming allows spell casting via stylus, as well as two-player ad hoc co-op. Each character is given special abilities, like broom stick riding and talent to cast spells, the most important of which is Wingardium Leviosa. This enables the player to transfer the Lego bricks and build walls or set of stairs, with these. All the characters have this magic in them.

You will learn new magic and skills, as you move ahead in each level and emulate Harry’s growth as a wizard. The game takes you through those entertaining and exciting adventures you have experienced in the Harry Potter Books- Philosopher’s Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire. Meanwhile, this is a lot less about fighting and offers more of exploring and puzzle-solving. All levels are filled with an array of mysteries and riddles to be solved.

Lego Harry Potter: (Nintendo Wii), the video game comes to the market with a BBFC Rating of Universal; this makes it suitable for all.
